About ITAMARU

The story of ITAMARU project began in September 2019 with a blog of the same name about life in Italy on Instagram @it_ama_ru

 

The creator of ITAMARU blog and project, Natalia Romashko, was born and raised in St. Petersburg. She graduated from the Faculty of Philology of St. Petersburg State University with a degree in Italian Language and Literature and a master's degree in Art Criticism of Fine Arts and Architecture.
After university, she worked in the fashion industry for 10 years, and in 2016 she moved to Milan to study for a master's degree at the renowned fashion institute Istituto Marangoni. During her studies, Natalia fell in love with this city and decided to stay in Milan, later was born an idea to share her experience of adapting in a new country and to show to her audience the real non-tourist Italy and Italian Bella Vita through her blog

 

Now ITAMARU is a rapidly growing project about Italy, which includes not only a blog with articles about the best places to stay in this beautiful country, but also an online store with her collection of apparel dedicated to Italian culture and rituals, interior objects from the best Italian artisans and guidebooks (launching soon!).
